He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Bartholomew Mellor and Melvin Mellor; his siblings, Wilbert Willie (Tina) and Annette Patty; his brothers-in-law, John Patty Sr., Steve Sanchez and Craig MaCoy Larsen; his nephew Jay Randy Mellor; his niece Sheri Mellor; and his grandparents, Guy, Fern Mellor, Ray and Martha Bartholomew.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie Linn Marr Shomaker of Elsinore; his children, Terra Young (Nate), Amanda Larsen of Indiana, Ben Mellor (Danyell) of Richfield, Robert Shomaker (Heidi) of Lehi, Trisha Anderson (Cody) of Payson, Ty Mellor of Maryland, Mason Mellor (Rebecca) of Virginia, Ray Shomaker of Elsinore and Amy Shomaker of Elsinore; and his siblings, Sheron Larsen of Ephriam, Gerald Melvin Mellor (Margene) of Fayette, Randy Guy Mellor (Tracy) of Fayette and Neil Ray Mellor (Kelly Sue) of Centerfield. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He left a legacy of faith, love, family, ambition, integrity, charity, humor and acceptance.
