He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Moran and Sarah Burton Goodell; his daughter Lisa Rasmussen; his siblings, George Goodell, Beverly Schroeder and Carol Gardiner; and his great grandchild Lincoln Howard Linford.
He is survived by: his wife Claudia Ann Thompson; his children, Randy Goodell (Shelley) of Farr West, UT, Sally Pugsley (Wayne) of Park Valley, UT and Trisa Linford (Scott) of Sundance, WY; his former wife Cindy Miller (Richard) of Camden, TN.; and his sisters, Karen Rasmussen and Janice Summers. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren.
