He was predeceased by: his parents, James Royle and Vivian Ethel Smith Stoddart; and his daughter Suzanne. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lorraine Chapman; and his sons, John (Jenifer), Doug (Brenda), Greg (April) and Jeremy (Devany). He is also survived by his two brothers and three sisters.
