He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Greer Sothern and Alberta Whitehead; his wife Lorraine Sothern; his sons, Paul and John (Debi); his sister Carol Hosszu (Dennis); his nephew Mike Linn; his niece Joanne Robertson (Michael); his foster children, Navajo Placement and Yvonne Yazzie; his stepchildren, Glenn Ameling (Karla), Keith Ameling and Karen Willardson (Russell); and his former wife Marilyn Davidson. He was also cherished by two grandsons and two great grandsons.
