With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelson Kay Stevenson (Farmington, Utah), who passed away on October 3, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merlon L Stevenson and Katie Lynn Peterson Stevenson; and his children, Larry Stevenson (Carol), Mary Schmidt (Howard), Nancy Van Slooten (John) and David Stevenson (Julene). He was also cherished by his 4 children, 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donate in Kay's memory to the General Missionary Fund or the American Cancer Society.

“Just learned of this. Bishop Stevenson is an amazing man. Loving, kind, intelligent, and so willing to serve we who were in his ward. He was the perfect Bishop for two newly married newlyweds who were just getting started 40 years ago. He was the worlds greatest cheerleader for we who had so many eternally significant decisions to make and no body knew scriptures like he does. He was what I wanted to be when I grew up. A true spiritual giant.”
