He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Pete" Valentine (Laurence) and Llewellen Maurene Ford (Burrows); his daughter Susan; and his sisters, Joan Allen and Katherine Helmick.
He is survived by: his former wife Colleen Peterson; and his daughters, Debra Martinez (Fil) of Layton, Cindy Vaitaki (Homelo) of Kaysville and Patti Middleton (Trace) of Ogden. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
