She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Smith and George Gardiner Syme; her spouse Claude Leland Mills; and her siblings, Elaine Russell (Grant) and Gardiner Syme (Judy).
She is survived by: her children, Linda Goodman (late Gary), Michael Mills (Deidre), David Mills (Teri), Marilyn Mills (Ruth), Brian Mills (Kathy), Matthew Mills (Jodi), Lisa Wood (Scott) and Michelle Crawford (Matthew). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints missionary fund.
