He is survived by: his parents, John E Gamble Sr. and Carolyn Shirley Holton; his wife Joyce A May; his children, Nathaniel Ellis Gamble and Jenna Marie Gamble; his sister Lynn Gamble; his brother-in-law Alan Fitzsimmons; his nephew Jake Alan Fitzsimmons (Rachel Hagen); his great-niece Allie Marie; his great-nephew Beau James; his niece Erin Fitizimmons (Aaron Oberlitner); his great-niece Jaycie Lynn; his brother-in-law Charles H. May (Paula Burnett); his nieces, Claudia and Amelia; his sister-in-law Cassadra May; his niece Nicole May (Robert Paige); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Devin, Adrian and Rylan; and his niece Stephanie Horman.
