He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent James William Stewart; his wife Penee Wood Stewart; his mother Ellen Francine Stewart; his siblings, Frank (Rhonda), Steve and Annette Bell (Brent); his children, James Stewart, Jason Stewart (Tara), Sherstin Pearce (Trevor) and Matt Stewart (Victoria); and his grandsons, Carter, Zack, Coleman, Charlie and Tommy. He was also cherished by his sons and coaching soccer with his sons, daughter, and grandson.
