He was predeceased by: his parents, Sena C. Hansen and Vear Hansen; and his sisters, Carol Walther (Steuart), Betty Jo Armstrong (Ben), Dawn Reeve (Reed) and Bonnie Stephens (Dean).

He is survived by: his spouse Ann Burgoyne; and his children, Susan Callister (Mark), Joseph James Hansen (Amy), David Burgoyne Hansen (Lorraine), Paul William Hansen (Kristin Lang) and Jennifer Hansen.
