She is survived by: her children, Louis Edward Butler (Glenna) of Farmington, James Alan Butler (Tesi) of Colorado Springs, Charles Thomas Butler (Carol) of Yuma and Donald Eldon Butler (Lynnette) of Greeley; and her brother Don Carpenter (Doris) of Texas. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
