He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Julian and Alice Ivy Firth; his wife Jean Jensen; his son Brian; his son-in-law Roger Berry; his granddaughter Erin Berry; and his siblings, Boyd, Hal and Enid Price Wagstaff.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Couch (Gary), Gregory (Monica) and Susan Berry; his daughter-in-law Calley; and his sisters, Julia Harvey, Lela Richens and Lila Oaks (Galynn). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
During the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, he was honored to take a role as a volunteer and was very proud of his contribution to the historic event.
