He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edward Shutt and Doris May Whitaker; his wife Helen Doezie Shutt; his daughter Marcia Ann Shutt; and his daughter-in-law Reesalee Shutt.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn (Carol Shutt), Sandra (Kelvin Porter), Dale Shutt, Carol (Kevin Petersen) and Ryan (Natalie Shutt). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
