It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freland Burns Alvey of Escalante, Utah, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Burns and Ruth Allen Alvey; his daughters, Starla Alvey, Larane Reyes and Marion Dawn Randell "Donnie"; and his brother LaDell Ken Alvey.
He is survived by: his former wife Lillian Christiansen; his wife Phyllis Haws Lyman; his children, Terrie Lynn Christensen (Clyde) and Tyler Lyman; and his sister Rolain Alvey. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
