It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Kent Ehlers in Escalante, Utah, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Ehlers and Esther Iseli Ehlers; and his brother Karl. He is survived by: his wife Lael Kunz Askew Ehlers; and his sons, Dave (Jenny), Christopher (Marie) of St George, Jason of San Diego, CA, Travis (Kris) of Cottonwood Heights and Ryan (MeKyla) of Murfreesboro, TN. He is also survived by 12 grandkids, numerous stepchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
