He was predeceased by: his parents, Retha Wilcock and Edwin Beryl Shurtz; his wife Joyce Barker; and his sister Cleo (Barbara). He is survived by: his children, Randy (Dawna Nelson), Cindy (Ken Wood), Kaylene (Wallace Henderson) and Michael; and his sister Marilyn (Tom Jackson). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
