It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evan Coon of Erda, Utah, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Earl Coon and Erma Estella Wilding; his daughter Cindy Campbell; and his grandson Alexander Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Petersen; his sister Stella Aston; his children, Glade Coon (Ladean), Shelley Johnson (Alan), Joan Painter (Kelly), Joe Coon, Paula Lee (Red) and Terri Pehrson (Bryant); and his son-in-law Stephen Campbell. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of Evan's life will be held at a later date.
