He was predeceased by: his parents, Abinadi Nelson and Stena Nelson; his siblings, Lucien, Merrill, Glen, Morris, Flora, Hazel, Shirley and Barbara; and his granddaughter Jenny.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Cherry; and his sons, Jim (Marie) of Tempe, AZ, Doug (Sally) of Midway, UT and Kirk (Tami) of Newport Beach, CA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
