She is survived by: her husband Soren Melvin Nielsen; her sons, Soren Jason Nielsen (Rebecca) and Bjorn L Nielsen (Sabrina); and her sisters, Earleen Smart and Angela Turner. She is also survived by 3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters.
