He is survived by: his daughters, Doris Pearson (Victor), Angela Tims (Melvin) and Jennifer Holloway (Willie); his grandchildren, Melvin Tims Jr., Iyshia Tims and Accura Moore; his great grandchildren, Melody Tims, Harmony Tims, Melayia Tims and Kohl Alexander; his siblings, Margaret Baker (Dickey), Nobie Merritt, Rose Parker, Claiborne Merritt and Cartry Merritt; and his close friend Casey Kellman.
