He is survived by: his wife Charlene Richey of Monticello; his brother Rex; and his children, Max "Keele" Johnson, Jr. (Lynnette), Tanis Johnson (Steve), Terry Johnson, Kristina McFarland (Michael) and Suzanne Tidwell. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 step grandchildren, 33 great- grandchildren and 10 step great-grandchildren) and 2 great, great-grandchildren.
