She was predeceased by: her parents, Carol Schwab and Stanley Kjeld Christensen; her sons, Kjeld and Michael McConnell; and her great grandchild Aspen Roberts.
She is survived by: her husband Keith D. McConnell; her children, Sharon Roberts of Cheyenne, WY, Stan McConnell (Marlene), LaVerkin, Carrie McConnell, Kathy Purinton (Bill) of Prineville, OR and Lisa Mitchell (Roy) of Pagosa Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Randall McConnell (Jamie), Justin McConnell (Mindy), Jacy Christensen (Jason), Kristopher Roberts (Heather), Michael McConnell, Kit Marley Mitchell, Marie Mitchell and Dylan Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Nick, Travis, Bo, Braigen, Brinkley, Brixon, Drayson and Cruz; her great great grandchild Amara; and her close friends, Jolynne McConnell, Brannan, Rachael Revey, Kena Boweter and Blaine Roberts.
Loraine chose to have her body donated to science.
