He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Hannah Mae Dodds; his son-in-law Don Moore; his granddaughter Heather Neucile Lindsay; and his siblings, Cecil, Jim, Bob and Beth Heywood.
He is survived by: his former spouse Neucile Tebbs; his wife JoAnn; and his children, Debra Moore, Julie Combs (Kenneth), Janeal Carter (Bruce), Susan Lindsay (Shawn) and Craig Dodds (Brenda). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
