He was predeceased by: his wife Mardene Godfrey Dalton; his parents, Charles Delbert and Ella Rhea Savage Dalton; his siblings, Charles Nordel Dalton and Mona Reese Fullmer; his son David; his grandson Jonathan Hale; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Daniel Zollinger, Jordan, Shelly Bohman, Brody and Caitlin Gifford.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Willis (Michael), Lisa Millet (Alan), Kendall Dalton (Robin), Tonya Brugger (Donald), Kris Hale (Brent), Dahl Dalton (Melanie) and Wade Dalton (Cindy); and his siblings, Gary Dalton, Sharon Whittaker Heiser and Marcea Nielsen. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren.
