He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Edward and Ila Mae Mangum Barnes; his granddaughter Brooke Adair Barnes; his great grandchild Brenton Jade Andrade; and his siblings, Cecilia and Doug Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Barnes; his children, Tracie York (Allen) of Santaquin, Jeff Barnes (Vicki) of Elk Ridge and Vince Barnes (Amy) of Payson; and his brother Dennis Barnes. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
