He is survived by: his son Josh Gilson; his daughter-in-law DeAnn Gilson; his grandchildren, Kelcee Blue (JJ), Kaydee Herrera (Tyler) and Kaycee Gilson (Zach); his great grandchildren, Walker and Ada Blue; his daughter Jenny Gilson; his grandchildren, Anthony Archuleta and Austyn Gilson; his siblings, Glenna Gilson (Jackson Frederick), Judy Roberts (Val), Jean Rodriguez, Sally Anderson (Bruce), Bill Gilson (Ernestine) and Pat Trujillo (Gilbert); his former spouse Debi Taylor; and his pet Nico. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
