He was predeceased by: his parents, Hyrum Morris and Mary Cox Buhanan; and his brother Paul Buhanan. He is survived by: his former wife Cheryl Gilliland; his sons, Michael, David, Benjamin, Joseph, James and John Buhanan; his wife Lyuda Yalokha; his daughters, Slava Ericson, Mariya Viskovska and Nadiya Zurita; and his sisters, Phyllis Topham, Nancy Bauer and Bonnie Terry. He is also survived by his sons and daughters and their respective spouses, grandchildren.
