He is survived by: his sister Della Wagar; his daughters, Candace Howe (Derek) and Pamela Smette; his close friend Sharon Oppen; and his grandchildren, Melissa Smette, Marie Howe and Seth Howe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
