She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lee and Mary Tidwell Sage; her husband Jim R Cowan; her sister Lynn Baker; her grandson Brian Cowan; and her son-in-law Lynn Gilbert.
She is survived by: her children, Clarice Gilbert and Kelly Cowan (Cindy); and her sister Rosanna Wittu. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
