She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gross and Blanch Scott; her husband Vernon J Peterson; her daughter Karen Peterson; her granddaughter Heather Lynn Peterson; and her siblings, Bernice Ainge, Harold Cook, Jean Richens, George Gross, Eva Hullinger, Leah Mitchell-Rust, Earl Gross and RayDean Gross.
She is survived by: her sister Doris Stocks of Layton Utah; and her children, TroyLynn Heckman (Micki), Jerry G. Peterson (Rebecca Milton), Lindon and Michelle Hirst (Michael). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
