He was predeceased by : his parents, Carol Jensen Kemp and Douglas John Kemp; and his siblings, Colleen, Jerry, Bob and Tom.

He is survived by : his daughter Melodie Tolentino (Al); his siblings, Dody Caldwell (Mike) and Blaine Kemp (Carrie); and his grandchildren, Mia, AJ, Nicolas and Erika.
