He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Friedrich Breitling and Edna Elizabeth Liechty; his siblings, Gertrude Law (Fred), Harold Breitling, Marilyn Brown, Lorna Malmborg (Jack) and Julia Walters (Fred); and his granddaughter Carolyn.
He is survived by: his brothers, Construction, Sand and Gravel; his wife Donna; his children, Michael Breitling (Dianne), Donald W. Breitling (Ruth), Barbara Wilson (Mark) and Steven L. Breitling; his sister Margie Stanley (late Terry); and his close friends, Susan Adair and Rick Duggar. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren with their spouses, 45 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way, and 1 great-great grandchild.
