He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kirton and Audrey Kirton; his granddaughter Kristen Ann Kirton; and his brothers, Joseph and John Kirton.
He is survived by: his wife LaVon; his children, Becky Cranney, Carrie Backus (Rod), Richard Kirton (Polly), Alan Kirton (Jana), Vicki Chidester (Verl), Tom Kirton (Tracie), Lonie Carr and Kevin Kirton (Kammi); and his sisters, Audrey Neilson and Peggy Evans. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.
