He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wayne Moeller and Marjorie Sue Blankenship Moeller; his stepfather Darrel Brown; his siblings-in-law, Gloria Gardner, Leta Fischer and Curtis Heck; and his niece Kelly Ann Wimp.
He is survived by: his wife Joleen Moeller (Heck); his children, Lori Kotter (Casey) of Utah and Joe Moeller; his grandchildren, Owen, Mason Kotter, Anthony and Skyler Moeller; his siblings, Frank Gardner and Teresa Schalk (David) of Nevada; his parents-in-law, Joe and Agnes Heck; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Hutton (Ron), Cindy Sowers (Shane), Carol Petry (Jeff) and David Heck (Jacque). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
