She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Milton Derrick and Edith Derrick; her siblings, Carole, Debbie and Milt; her children, Hilary (Jay), Alyson (Derek), Brett (Suzanne) and Jeffrey; and her husband Bob Keeler. She was also cherished by grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Maureen again found work in the medical field, this time as the executive assistant to the administrator of the Kaiser Foundation Hospital in neighboring Oakland.
