He is survived by: his parents, Eva Griffin Spencer and Ushur Lazell Spencer; his brother Usher Stanley Spencer; his spouse Anne Coombs; his children, Sunia Spencer and Helena Spencer; his grandchildren, Schyler Howell, Tyen Howell, Tristen Howell and Karley Howell; and his sister Patsy Spencer Cottam. He is also survived by husband, father and brother.
