It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Dean Thurmond in Draper, Utah, born in Bingham Canyon, Utah, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Davies and Violet Davies; her sisters, Bonnie Mae, Glenna Vee and Donna Gardner; her daughter Diane Dressen; her son-in-law Donne Dressen; and her brother Glen Davies.

She is survived by: her children, Denise (Frank), Tamra (Pete) and James (Alyssa). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
