She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Bolos; her parents, Charles Kaulana Akana and Nora Mary (Polson); and her brothers, Clarence Akana and Charles Kaulana Akana, Jr. (Chuck).
She is survived by: her children, Denise L. Karren, Jaylene D. Workman (Alan), Lorrie A. (Santos) and Randall Kaulana Bolos (Mandy); and her half-sister Kuuipo Kanakaole. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, her children, spouses, grandchildren and their spouses and great grandchildren.
