He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Susan Thompson Dayton; his parents, James William and Zelma Smith Thompson; his children, James Roy Thompson, Cynthia Thompson Giles-Kern and Kerry Dale Thompson (Cynthia); his close friends, James Claron Thompson (Jimmie) and Beverly Boulter Thompson; and his siblings, Beth Thompson Bateman, Joy Thompson Parry, Harold N. Thompson and Parley Dale Thompson. He was also cherished by loving grandparents for 17 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.
