He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Hugh Hurst and Melissa Ann Stephenson Hurst; his children, Cheryl Galloway, Steven Hurst (Barbara), Michael Hurst (Stacy), David Hurst (Linda), Nathan Hurst (Tonya) and John Hurst; his nephews, Philip Hurst (Liz) and Ken Hurst (Debbie); his wife Cecelia; and his sister Jane. He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
