It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Hansen (Draper, Utah), born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harvey Hansen and Emily Etha Tuckfield; his daughter Shellie Rae Hansen Ashby; and his siblings, Earl T. Hansen, John H. Hansen, Jr., R. Karl Hansen and Annette S. Riccardi.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Sorensen; and his children, Gregory Scott Hansen, Douglas Kent Hansen (Debbi), Brian Dell Hansen (Janet), Janna Lee Hansen, Rodney Brent Hansen (Kristi) and Leslie Ann Hansen. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, three granddaughters-in-law, four grandsons-in-law, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nature Conservancy organization in his honor.
