He was predeceased by: his parents, Mahonri Kenneth White and Ada Marie Sparks White; and his siblings, Gloria Halliday (Herbert), Joyce Jackson (Ward) and Kenneth Franklin White.

He is survived by: his former spouse Georgianne Poulsen; his wife Patricia Margaret Giles; his children, Robin Anne Young, Lisa Dawn Maden, Gary Stephen White (Jennifer) and Patrick Kennedy White; and his stepchildren, Teresa Wilkins (Brett) and Jeffrey Thomas Lucas. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
