He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Lindsay Burton; his children, Elaine Erickson (Gordon), Nathan (Lisa), Gaylianne, Carolyn Jensen (Shane), Stephen (Patricia) and Rachel Inkley (David); his stepchildren, Michael Babbel (late Kim), David Babbel (Cathy) and Lisa Babbel; and his siblings, Grant (Jewel) and Jane (late Steve Marsh).
For the last years of his life, Fred dealt with the debilitating mental and physical challenges of Parkinson's Disease.
