He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fredrick Brown and Frances Elizabeth Pead. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Nadine Schaerrer; his sons, Ed Brown (Diane) and John Brown (Vicki); and his nephew Blaine. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Saturday, March 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the LDS Chapel (1272 Walden Ln, Draper, UT 84020). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery.
