He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Byrd and Moody Byrd; and his siblings, Elizabeth, Patricia, Pauline, Nellie, Wildon, James, Richard, Raymond, Nathan, Johnny, Jackie and Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Teresa Byrd and Dwayne Byrd (Rachael); and his grandchildren, Ely, Eric, Angela, Stephanie, Braxton, Kade and Madyson. He is also survived by Eight great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 Dimple Dell Ln, Sandy, UT 84092).
