He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Clayton and Audrey Gillen Clayton; his sister Beverly; and his nephew Layne. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughters, Natalie (Brian Preece), Teresa (Gary Ellis) and Annie (Eric Woodward); his brother Jerry (JoAnn); and his grandchildren, Mandolyn, Tyler Hanson, Clayton, Nicole Preece, McKell, Stuart Johnsen, BriAnne, David Coats, CalDon, Kenzie Preece, Cailie, Kade Dearden, Liesl, Parker Baldwin, Sarajane Ellis, Elder Ryan Ellis, Elder Justin Ellis, Jordan, Reagan Woodward, Blake, Haley Woodward, Ian, Kailey Woodward and Ellie Woodward. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
