She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Poole and Bonnie Jean Duthie McFarland, her nephew Jared Budzenski and her brother-in-law Wayne Tew. She is survived by : her children, Brian Thomas Ristelhueber, Bonnie Anne Ristelhueber (partner Derek McConnell) and Bradley Michael Ristelhueber; her brother Thomas McFarland, Jr. (Janet); his children Thomas McFarland III, Dot Ivie (Christopher) and Jacob Vawdrey McFarland (Brooklyn); her sister Kathleen Rose (Gary); her children Maranda Hawkes (Rich), and Sami Jared Rose; and her sister Michelle; and her daughters Ashley Sebesta (Bryan), Courtney Miles (Bentley), Chelsea Ottosen (Curt), Lacie Maisey (Thomas), Heidi Tew and Emily Tew.
At one school, she helped the middle school orchestra teacher by repairing the students' violins, also donating instruments she had restored.
