He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Gertrude Wyman Martin (Martin) and Raymond Jess Martin; his son Danny Martin; and his siblings, Corrine Pierce, Deanna Fullmer (Gerald), Vonnie Trimble (Gerald), Bud (Rosario Flores), Darlene Platt and Ray Martin "Little Ray" The (Sonya).

He is survived by: his children, Jessica Butler (Tony), Tonya Berman, Jacob Martin (Kimberly), Gina Martin (Anthony) and Shon Martin (Jessica); and his brothers, James Platt and Sterling Pierce. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
