She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Sparks and Maida Oakey; her husband Owen; her siblings, Lena, Estelle, Pearl, Alfred and George Calvin "Bud"; her daughter Sydney; and her grandson Trent.

She is survived by: her son Stephen; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Tame (Bradley), Mandy Gardner, Kendra Young (Kenneth), Meghan Dazley (Eric), Phaedra Hawn, Cody Gardner and Wade Gardner (Jennifer). She is also survived by eight great-granddaughters; nine great-grandsons; two great-great-granddaughters; and two great- great-grandsons.
