We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2023, at the age of 60, Gregory Jay Schafer of Delta, Utah, born in Rockford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George H Shafer and Mary A Ulmer Shafer; and his birth mother Donna. He is survived by: his wife Monica Schafer; his sons, Cody Schafer, George Schafer (Ahtziri) and Granger Schafer (Demi); his grandchildren, Cheralyn Lovell, Remington Purser and Geovani Schafer; his brother Frank Froeber (Luanne); his godmother Carolyn Taber; and his family, Steve I Thatcher and Ginger Moore. He is also survived by children; 7 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law.
At Greg's request, if friends are inclined, we encourage donations to any charitable organization that serves the well-being of those who are less fortunate, fulfilling teachings of Christ.
